New post in Korean Studies at SOAS

Applications are invited for a full-time post as Lecturer in Korean Studies. The successful candidate will teach in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Korean studies offered by the Department of the Languages and Cultures of Japan and Korea. He or she will be expected to teach and develop courses within the field of his or her discipline as well as to teach language acquisition and language use courses.
The successful applicant will have a PhD and a demonstrable record of teaching and high-level international publications in applied linguistics, contemporary Korean society, Korean film and media or other relevant disciplines within Korean studies. The position will commence in September 2011.
Deadline for applications is June 3rd.
