Tenure-track Assistant Professor, USC
The School of Religion in the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Asian Religions for Fall 2013, with a specialization in either China or Korea.
Applicants must demonstrate not only area-specific expertise but also fluency in religious studies methodologies and an ability to relate his or her work to the larger discipline of the cross-cultural study of religions.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field at time of appointment and demonstrated the promise of excellence in both research and teaching. The applicant should send a CV, a sample research paper, a statement of research interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness, three letters of recommendation, and graduate transcripts to: religionsearch@dornsife.usc.
